I rang 08459505505 to check on my parcel, which I thought was from DPD. Turns out, they messed up and I ended up getting charged £10 for the phone call! Absolutely ridiculous.

I called up thinking it was just a normal number to sort out an order mix-up at their warehouse. Only later did I find out it was a premium line when my phone bill shot up by £39!

Hi, I got a call from this number which supposedly belongs to DPD (the courier service). I rang them up to sort out a parcel mix-up - my phone had been delivered to the wrong place.
I wasn’t told at all it was some kind of expensive number and ended up on the phone for quite some time with their rep. I only wanted to arrange for the phone to be picked up and sent to the rightful owner, but now I’m stuck with a hefty bill just for trying to do the right thing... Should I have kept the phone instead??? Obviously not. Then they’d have had to report it missing, surely.
Does anyone know how I can get a refund for the charges?
