We had a gander at the Ministry of Justice website, and it appears that these individuals were indeed accredited as of earlier today (30/8/10). They seem to be on the up and up, but do exercise caution once they start trying to reach out to you via phone. Be mindful that they’re likely to peddle a legal package which comes with a hefty price tag of £79. The silver lining is that you’ll only have to part with that cash when you’ve successfully lodged a claim. Just thought I’d give you a heads-up!

We recently discovered that our father-in-law was taken in by a bunch of crooks. It’s a bit tricky to recount the whole ordeal, especially since he’s getting on a bit. From what we gathered, these unscrupulous individuals managed to trick him into believing they had his card details, coaxing him to reveal sensitive information. How despicable to prey on the vulnerable! They’re clearly not above making cold calls to find their next target.

We recently took a peek at the official page of the Ministry of Justice, and it appears that these individuals hold certain rights (at least as of today, the 30th of August, 1910). They do seem fairly genuine, but we’re a tad cautious about engaging too quickly, especially given the prospect of contacting them. Be advised, they appear to offer a legal package for a fee of £79, which is only refunded if you achieve a successful claim. Just a word of warning to tread carefully!

These despicable individuals managed to con our father-in-law. It's a bit tricky to provide all the details since he is elderly, but it seems they posed as legitimate callers to extract his card information from him. It's appalling how they go after the vulnerable elderly folk. They really have no shame, these cold callers!

She claimed to be with a company designated by the government to facilitate the reclamation of bank charges. She obtained our card details and asked us to confirm them, which we did. Later, she mentioned that a claims pack would be dispatched for us to sign and forward to the bank. Then, she asked for our date of birth as a means of verification. When we inquired about her identity, she introduced herself as Nelson Speirs from United Kingdom Claims. We decided to hang up and promptly cancelled our card.

We were tricked into using a service called Get Your Bank Charges Back, which charged us a flat fee of £1.
