Claimed to be from O2, but the background was quite noisy and they didn’t come across as very professional.

Received a call from someone claiming to be with O2. This isn’t the first time; I had a similar experience just the other week. They even texted me a security code and requested I provide it to them. Definitely advise against sharing any such information. I ended the conversation and rang the genuine O2 customer service number, who assured me it wasn't them. They emphasised they would never request personal information in such a manner.
