Then they passed me on to a bloke who started chatting about how I could save money with some government solar panel scheme. I told him straight away I wasn’t interested, I think solar panels look terrible, so he’s just wasting his breath. He kept trying to convince me, got as far as saying “but m...” before I just hung up. Honestly, why is it so hard for these people to accept a no? I’ve blocked the number now.

Some woman called claiming she was from Sky trying to sell me a warranty for my Sky box. She wanted my account number, but I told her if she was really from Sky, she’d already know that. Then she quickly changed her story and said she wasn’t from Sky but just worked with them. I told her to stop calling me.
