Received a call from someone posing as O2, intriguingly requesting my email address. They then proceeded to send through a password reset email in the hopes of offering a rather enticing 30% discount. It all feels quite dodgy, if you ask me.

Total scam, this number looked up and found loads of similar reviews. Got a call straight away from 0870 312 0897 pushing the usual O2 scam chat. Called them out as frauds and they just dropped the call. Reported both numbers to the Police Fraud Department by texting 7726. SCAM ALERT - someone rang claiming to be from O2, saying I could get a discount on my bill. They asked for my email to send a code, but I said they should already have it on file. They gave some weak excuses and said it was a promo code, but it turns out it’s actually a password reset code to lock you out and make expensive purchases. I told them straight up I wasn’t falling for it.

I had a chat with a representative who then passed me on to another person. I provided my email address after they assured me of a 20% discount for the coming year. However, I never received the promised email. Strangely, they then asked for my O2 password! I absolutely declined to share that information. They mentioned they'd give me a ring tomorrow instead.

Got a call from a woman with a really heavy accent claiming she was from O2, trying to push me into upgrading my phone plan. I’m not even with O2, but I picked up because an elderly family member keeps getting calls from this number. I just let her talk on and on, then she asked for my phone number and bank details.
