I received a call from a number I hadn’t shared with anyone - it was a bit eerie, to be honest. The caller asked for my partner by their first name only and when we tried to clarify whether she had the correct individual, she just kept shutting us down. She insisted it was something crucial and urged us to ring back using the number she provided. Now, here’s the peculiar part: I originally called from 01823618790, and she mentioned some folks were associated with an entity called FPC. To top it off, she gave out another number, 08458396251, for us to return the call. Quite the strange encounter, wouldn’t you say?

I loaded the device with messages, but when we tried to call back, they flatly refused to reveal the identities of those individuals. Quite frustrating, really!

Haha, serves you right! It’s clearly because you've got outstanding debts, you silly sod! 🤣 Sort your finances out, you skint muppet, or else these lot will be hounding you non-stop! 😂

They refused to disclose the identities of these individuals until we had confirmed our date of birth, name, and various other personal information.

We keep receiving calls from this number, but it seems they're trying to reach someone else entirely. Puzzling, isn’t it? After a bit of digging around, we discovered that this number is linked to Fredrickson International, a collection agency. They primarily deal with debts related to mobile phones and broadband services. If you search for them online, you’ll find their official website quite easily. What a curious situation!

Upon perusing their website, I noticed that these folks have a 020 number, which is significantly more economical to dial compared to the 0845 number, and it's even included in the free calling allowance. We just had a chat with one of their representatives, and she inquired about the duration of our possession of the phone number and whether it was associated with a particular address, which it definitely isn’t! She was rather apologetic about the whole situation. Let's hope these bothersome calls cease now!

I received a call earlier today from someone who simply referred to my fiancée's daughter by her first name. When I inquired about the nature of the call, he insisted it was a confidential issue and couldn’t divulge any details. Curiosity got the better of me, and I pressed for the company’s name. After some reluctance, he finally mentioned it was FPC. There was definitely something off about the whole conversation; he came off as rather evasive and seemed a bit lacking in sophistication, to be honest.

Today, this number called, but the caller refused to say who they were. Quite the mystery!

Hi there! We've been inundated with a bunch of messages left on our mum's landline again. These callers are rather secretive and only mention that it’s a personal issue. It took our mum several tries just to get a phone number from them, but we still haven’t a clue who they are or what they want. It’s really frustrating her, especially since it’s her home phone they’re constantly ringing. Is there something dodgy going on, or what?

I keep getting calls from this number and a few others, yet they never leave a voicemail. The other numbers that keep pestering me are 01163190741 and 0845 8396274. It’s quite frustrating!

Blimey, these debt collectors are absolutely relentless! Once they've got your address, they'll make themselves right at home. It's like they have a knack for making it seem as though your door is wide open for them. And don’t get me started on their outrageous fees! If you owe a phone company £200, be ready to cough up upwards of £1200, what with all their added charges. Every time they give you a bell, you can bet they’ll be tacking on an extra twenty quid, and apparently, it's all above board! They set their own fees, and somehow, it’s all legally binding. My advice? Get in touch with the folks you actually owe money to and sort something out with them! Whatever you do, steer clear of passing this on to the collections agency, or you might find yourself living on the streets!

Indeed, this number has been calling us up to eight times a day lately. We've decided to stop answering their calls altogether.

I've been receiving persistent calls at my parents' home from this number, inquiring about me, for the past couple of weeks-some days two or three times, no less! The thing is, I haven't resided there for about 17 years! My father, who is quite elderly and not in the best of health, is feeling quite anxious about these incessant calls, and it's really taking a toll on him. I'm planning to reach out to them today, but I’m rather hesitant to share our address for them to send correspondence. We’ll have to figure out a way to resolve this situation!

We decided to return the call after these individuals contacted our sister seeking information about us. They handed over their number since we relocated to Australia back in February, and we were concerned it might be an identity mix-up linked to some unpaid dues. It was essential for us to clear up any outstanding payments. However, they merely asked for our postcode, which we refused to provide. We inquired about any debts we might owe, but they were completely tight-lipped. Since they chose not to share any information, they can bloody well take a hike! We can’t believe we were foolish enough to call from Oz, and now we're just stewing over our upcoming phone bill. Brilliant, isn’t it?

Blimey, what an utter berk you are! If we ever got our hands on you, we'd have no qualms about twisting your head off and giving you a right good dose of your own medicine! You’re positively insufferable, mate!

We've been getting calls from this number rather frequently. They always leave messages on our answering machine shortly after we return home from work. Strangely, when we do answer, they are asking about our daughter! This has caused quite a bit of concern for us. After looking into it further, I reckon we should take this matter up with the local authorities. Thank you for the heads-up!

We returned the call after these individuals had contacted our sister seeking us out. They provided a number, and given that we relocated to Australia back in February, we started to wonder if it was related to some lingering identity issue or an old debt. We were keen to clear up any outstanding payments. However, all they asked for was our postcode, which we refused to give. When we enquired about any debt we might have, they were quite evasive and wouldn’t provide any clarity. Their unwillingness to share information just led us to conclude that they can take a hike! Honestly, it seems rather foolish that we even bothered to call from Oz, and now we’re left waiting to see how it impacts our phone bill. Silly us!

I've received calls from a lot of these individuals who only go by the acronym "FPC." They seem to be quite secretive and won't disclose their identity or share their licensing details from the OFT. Because of this, I'm unable to look them up through Companies House, as they won’t provide their firm’s registration number. In fact, the OFT has asked us to uncover their official name so that we can lodge a formal complaint. It's quite clear that they’re trying to stay under the radar, and if anyone manages to unearth who they are, please do get in touch!

This company has been relentless in pursuing us for a Vodafone bill that was settled two years back! Despite providing proof of payment, they decided to bombard us with calls nearly every day for two solid months. They even had the audacity to talk about taking us to court, even though we’ve cleared the debt. Furthermore, they claimed they could place a charge on our property without any court order! We finally reported them to the police, and thankfully, the calls ceased. It’s worth noting that even if the debt was valid, they should only contact you a few times a month. If you find yourself in a similar situation, don’t hesitate to lodge a complaint directly with your local police station, but remember, it’s not a matter for 999!

This number has been ringing my folks' home incessantly over the past couple of weeks, seeking to speak to me - on two or three occasions each day, no less! The thing is, I haven’t resided there for nearly 17 years now! Our father, who is quite advanced in age and in poor health, finds these calls rather distressing, especially as my mother grapples with anxiety and other concerns. I'm planning to give them a bell today, though I'm rather reluctant to provide our address for correspondence. We'll have to figure out how to handle this!

It’s quite clear that these callers are reaching out because you or a member of your family are in financial trouble. They aren't just ringing for a friendly chat or because they think you're particularly interesting. No, it’s likely down to unpaid bills-perhaps with Vodafone or some credit card company. So, rather than being in denial, maybe consider settling those debts. It's a simple solution, really. Sort your finances out, and those persistent calls will soon stop!
