Got a call from scammers a bit earlier. Saw the post from 04/12/20 and found it pretty helpful. I went ahead and reported the number to the police database, which was easy - no sign-up or anything. Just a few clicks, entered the phone number, and jotted down a brief description of the scam in the text box. Honestly, it didn’t take any longer than writing this comment.

Got a call from 0845 813 986 claiming to be from Windsor Investment Fund. It was a foreign lady who just wouldn’t stop talking, even after I told her I’m on the TPS list. She kept talking over me, so I just ended the call. Usually, if the call takes a couple of seconds to connect, it’s a dead giveaway it’s some dodgy spam. Definitely steer clear of this number, they called me in Manchester, UK.

I got a call where they wanted my email to send an invite, said it was no strings attached. I told them no, cheers, and ended the call. Then, when I tried to block the number like I normally do, it just said 'number invalid'. Bit odd if you ask me.

Got a call from an unknown number on November 28, 2020. Didn’t pick up ’cause it seemed dodgy. They didn’t leave a voicemail, so I’m guessing it was just a nuisance. I’ve gone ahead and blocked it now. Honestly, with the sheer amount of random calls we get, we’re gonna hit the block list max soon! Can’t whoever assigns these numbers just stop them in the first place?
