Got a call from what sounded like an Indian call centre, telling me there was some mis-selling going on with my bank account. Definitely a spam call.

This morning I had a call like that as well. They told me basically the same stuff, but I found out where they found my info - from the domain registrar database. Do you happen to own a website? It's best not to put your actual home address down when signing up for a domain. Just so you know, you can update those details whenever you want. Caller ID showed 08458056950.

Had the same issue here, there was loads of noise like a telly blaring in the back. The guy somehow knew my name and mentioned something about insurance. He then went on asking how much cash I got paid into my account each month. I told him where to stick it and ended the call. - caller: 08458056950

Today, Monday 08.02.2016 around 12:20 pm, I got a call from this number. The person on the line knew my full name and even recited my home address, which was quite alarming since it means they have my name, phone number, and address. When I asked who he was, he said he was calling from CURO. He kept questioning me about if I was paying any bank fees or PPI charges. I tried to check who he really was, but he wouldn’t give me his name or explain how he got my info. It made me feel uneasy. I could hear a TV playing in the background, and when I mentioned it didn’t feel like a proper professional call, the noise went quiet. I asked again for his identity and then he just ended the call. I’m not sure what to do next or if I’m at risk now. The number he called from is 0845-805-6950. Anyone knows who I should tell about this? Honestly, this was really creepy and unsettling. Don’t answer calls from them and never confirm any details. The call came through my mobile from 08458056950.
