I got a call from someone who already knew my name and the shares I own in a company. It was clear they were fishing for my bank info - total scam alert. Definitely don’t share your information with them.

Got a call from someone claiming to be National Grid, saying they wanted to buy shares off me. Seemed a bit dodgy if you ask me.

Not sure if this is a scam or not! Someone contacted us using our name and said they wanted to buy shares at a crazy high price. We weren’t interested in selling, but it did make me wonder if it’s some trick to steal bank info. I’m curious to see what others have experienced with this. If the shares are really worth £4, who’d be daft enough to pay £65 for them? Just my two cents.
