As soon as I picked up, the person just cut the call, probably trying to get me to ring back and pay that 55p a minute charge. What a cheek!

Got a call yesterday from 0845 709 9797, but as soon as I picked up, they just hung up. Tried calling them back using another phone and it said the number didn’t exist. How’s that even possible? Call from a number, then when you try to return it, it’s “invalid”. Feels like some kinda scam to me. These weird calls pop up every few months on different numbers and I just block them all. Still, I’m left wondering what they actually want.

Got two calls within five mins. Picked up once and they just cut off straight away. Tried calling back but it said the number isn’t valid. Didn’t leave any voicemail or anything.
