Got three calls today from something they called a "national database," which I reckon doesn't even exist. They told me to press 2 to book an appointment about green stuff like getting your boiler upgraded. All this happened between around half past nine and just before noon. Feels like there should be a way to stop this sort of dodgy tactic from happening.

I have two phone numbers and they rang both of them within a 5 minute gap. This happens all the time! Today I finally caught the name "Green Shield Energy" so I’m definitely putting in a complaint to the TPS. What a daft way to drum up customers. I can't stand companies that use these tactics and there’s no way I’d ever buy from them, even if I was actually looking for a provider. Their phone manners alone have put me off for good.

The number keeps switching which country it’s showing as calling from. Well, I’m guessing it’s some clever trick to dodge call blockers. This has been happening daily for weeks. They claim it’s about Scottish Government grants - bit odd though, why would they be ringing from outside the UK if that’s true?
