We’re dealing with a debt through Rundles and got a letter that's a total rip-off of their official one. The only difference was our names and address were hand-written in pen, and there was no signature like on the real Rundles letter. Also, the genuine payment line is 0800 081600. So whatever letter lands in your post, double check it's legit. If you've been in touch with them, ring up to confirm it’s really from Rundles.

I’m not sure if it’s actually a scam but I do know for sure that my two outstanding debts to the council - both had court orders - ended up being handled by this company. They tacked on an extra £75 to each debt. I kept in touch with the council over the six months I was paying off the amount, just to make sure my balance was going down. They’re a legit enforcement firm but like most of them, they can be pretty pushy with their methods.

These people are genuine enforcement officers usually dealing with local councils. Don’t just brush them off, but if you owe money to the council, try to sort it out with them straight away. Once Rundles get involved, they tack on loads of extra fees!! That’s why the amount keeps going up - they pile on charges the longer you delay paying.

Got this message back in March. It says something about it being the end of the financial year and my account still not paid, so my debt might get sent for removal or something. They want me to ring their Enforcement Agent on 07713839401 with ref 1784890 to sort payment quickly. It says I owe £907.33. Then just today I got another one saying URGENT! Call Rundles on 08456585030 with ref 1917939 to stop any action, and now the amount owed is £1228.14. Different ref and sum. I’m just gonna ignore them and not bother calling back.

I kept getting calls from them all the time and they even sent some really scary texts. Then they turned up at my house, knocking on the door, and shoved some threatening letters through my letterbox about council tax. I’m seriously disabled, but I do have three dogs, so let them come try anything 😂 They might be small, but they bark like Rottweilers. So poor Mr Rundle didn’t last long at all.

Rundles - some company that chases debts.

I received a text saying I owed £433.49 and when I tried ringing them, it just went to an answerphone. Some bloke with a deep voice said, "Hi, you've reached Dave Hawley’s voicemail." I gave up calling after that. Then today, a man turned up at my door claiming to be from a debt collection agency to collect the money. I asked to see his ID, and it looked dodgy, so I just shut and locked the door. Sat in my car and warned him if he tried to get inside, I’d call the police. He spent about seven minutes getting back in his car and driving off. That’s when I realised it was a scam because a proper agency would tell you to call the police, not just run off. Since then, I’ve had loads of annoying calls. I looked the number up online and found this website, which has put my mind at ease quite a bit. Fingers crossed they don’t bother me again. Cheers!

Got a message on my answerphone from a lady’s voice, real not a robot, saying it was from Randal’s enforcement agency and that I needed to call them back straight away. Can’t stand these dodgy scams lately... this makes it the fourth different one I’ve had in just three days.

Didn't get a phone call, just received a text saying “##ALERT## We visited your home to seize goods. We'll be back to finish the job, even if you're not home. Ring Rundles on 08456585030 with ref 1790038. You owe £1608.84.” Never borrowed money from them or had any contact. After reading the comments here, it’s clearly a scam.

Got a text and a couple missed calls from rundles about owing money (which i dont). After reading these comments, definitely reckon it’s a scam. Gonna block the number on my phone.

Got a message from a place named Rundles saying I owe them £963.36, which is just rubbish as I don’t have any debts with anyone. I’m ignoring their texts and just deleting their contact. Is there any way to put an end to these annoying scams? It’s stressful and honestly feels like a criminal thing to do.

Got loads of voicemails from some agency claiming I owe cash to some mate I don’t even know. They say they’re enforcement or something. Then they text too. Heads up, folks - if I hadn’t read all these warnings, I might have actually rung them back 🙄

Kept getting texts from this number saying "Warning of Enforcement" and to get in touch asap. Since I don’t owe anything, I just ignored it but was curious if it was a scam, so I looked it up - looks like it definitely is, and they claim to be Rundel & Co Ltd.

I got a text from them, so I rang back. The bloke on the phone couldn’t give me a straight answer about why I got the message. I asked for a refund for the call, but he said there was nothing they could do. I told him I didn’t really mind, 'cause it sounded like a scam to me anyway. Then he just said thanks and hung up.

Got a message from this number saying I had to call some "enforcement agency" by 8pm or else... I didn’t ring them back because, thankfully, I don’t owe anyone anything. Still, it really freaked me out at first. I’m glad I checked this website though; it helped calm me down a lot.

Rang us during tea time tonight. The call was sent straight to voicemail, and we caught the tail end of a message mentioning a balance. It instructed us to hit 1 to acknowledge we’d got the message or 2 if we wanted it repeated. Then the line went dead.

I received a text from this number, which I've promptly disregarded. Curious to discover who it was, I did a quick online search. It seems they're falsely claiming that I have an outstanding debt, and are threatening to show up at my doorstep if I don't settle it. Quite unsettling, to say the least! They refer to themselves as RUNDLES. Do take care, everyone!
