So, I got a call from this debt collection company, Waters and Gate, saying I supposedly owe a fine from Rome? I’m still trying to figure it all out, but from what I can tell, it might actually be legit. I was in Rome around the time they’re talking about, and apparently, it involves a vehicle I was using then. I’m waiting to see what kind of proof they’ve got. The amount they're asking for is way more than any fine I’ve had in the UK, but I guess that makes sense given how long it's been.
