I’d like to bring to your attention a rather suspicious call originating from the number 0845 6086 6380.

Booked a holiday through RCI timeshare and ended up paying £11,728 - way more than I expected!

I received a voicemail that claimed to be from BT.

I tried calling the RCI switchboard and got the number 01536 310101. Seems like they handle weeks services, not point-related stuff. For holidays or department inquiries, the number to ring is 01536 315505. If you want to be sure, you can also try 01536 314000 to get through to their switchboard.

I called ci travel from my EE mobile and was shocked at the charges. For just one call, lasting 37 minutes, they billed me £1.55 for a UK service fee and then a whopping £15.83 for the UK access charge. When I added in two other calls to 0845 numbers to sort out my holiday, it ended up being £36.69 for 63 minutes overall. On top of that, VAT of £7.33 was added, making the total a hefty £44. And this is after I’d already paid for my RCI membership! Quite pricey for holiday planning, if you ask me.
