I received a call from 0845 6044913, which I believe is linked to Albion Collections. It seems they work with Halifax Bank, as our account was abruptly closed after we lost our jobs. These individuals evidently think it’s perfectly acceptable to slap us with a £35 fee for overdrawing, despite the fact we don't even have an overdraft facility! Lacking the funds to cover this charge prompted another lovely £35 fee for failing to make the payment. The cycle of fees just continues-it’s utterly ridiculous!

It's worth noting that our Halifax account was shut down right after we lost our jobs. It appears they took this as a valid reason to slap us with a £35 fee for going overdrawn, despite the fact we never had an overdraft in the first place! With no funds available, we couldn't settle that charge, which then led to yet another £35 penalty for missing the initial payment. And so the cycle continues...
