Upon answering, it was identified as Retail Banking Collections or a similar title. I asked to speak with someone from Halifax directly, only to be told that they were indeed representatives of the Halifax. When I requested their physical address, they outright refused to provide it, insisting that I needed to share my account information first. Well, I certainly wasn’t going to hand over any details without first confirming their legitimacy! They then accused me of being rude for not revealing my information. What a charming experience that was!

I received a call from a number that left a message on the company’s voicemail intended for one of our team members. I received a call from this number, which appears to be linked to Halifax, or possibly a third-party agency acting on their behalf. Quite often, these individuals are involved in debt management matters, and in our particular situation, they abruptly decided to revoke our overdraft and insisted we repay the entire amount immediately. Their calls tend to come in early afternoon, over the weekend, and sometimes quite late in the evening. Oddly enough, when they reached out to us at 9am on a Sunday, the voicemail instructs us to call back from Tuesday to Sunday during their so-called "office hours." It’s quite amusing, isn't it, that they chose to ring us on a Sunday themselves?!

This number seems to be incessantly leaving messages on our voicemail, requesting to speak with someone named Hannah Clark and asking for a return call to 084560444431. They ring our voicemail nearly every day without fail. We’ve made two attempts to call back, informing them that we aren't Hannah Clark and requesting that they cease calling our number, but to no effect. The staff we've dealt with have been remarkably rude, more so than we've ever experienced in a phone conversation. It feels as though they have zero intention of resolving the issue. We’ve made the decision to report this to the authorities.

The moment we mentioned that we weren’t customers, she insisted they must have dialled the wrong number.
