We received a call from a number linked to DEFRA, but I suspect it's a dodgy lot misusing their digits. Earlier today, these chaps rang us and seemed well-informed, knowing both our name and phone number. They claimed to be from Aqua credit card concerning a recent transaction. The moment we mentioned we hadn’t had an Aqua card for at least five years, they abruptly terminated the call. What genuinely unsettles us is how they even got hold of our details in the first place!

Received yet another call from an 0845 number this time, specifically 08456037777. Gave it a miss, but I can’t shake off the curiosity-any idea who might be behind it?

I received a call from 008456037777, so I decided to return it. What a strange experience it turned out to be! All I could hear was what sounded like a sort of adult-themed recording, with plenty of heavy breathing noises. Quite unusual, to say the least!
