This morning at around 8:50, I got a call from 08456022111. The caller said it was BT and told me to press 1, 2, or 3 to listen to a message. Seemed fishy, so I didn’t press anything and just ended the call. Definitely felt like a scam.

Someone tried to rip me off by saying loads of money had been taken from my bank, but that was totally false.

On the evening of Thursday 26th May 2022, my North London landline got three calls from 08456022111. Each time I tried to call back using the 141 code, all I got was a dead line with no message or clue about who was behind it. Quite baffling, really.

Woke up to phone calls kicking off at 7:15am for the past few days, then getting three more calls spaced out roughly every 30 minutes. Proper irritating stuff - the phone only rings about four times so I keep missing it. I’m not even gonna call back, worried it might charge me loads!

Got a call from 0845 60211 1. I tried picking up three times, first at 8pm, then at 5pm, and finally at 9:35pm. Checked online before answering the last one. When I finally answered, it was some sort of BT texting service for mobiles, but the number was 'unavailable'. They just told me to 'put the phone down'. Bit odd!

This morning (Sunday), we received a pair of calls at 6:30 and 7:11. The initial one startled us awake, but alas, we were too slow to answer, and the second one slipped by completely as I'd muted the ringer in our room! It’s so frustrating - once I was awake, sleep was utterly lost! Has anyone got a clue about who might be behind these calls?
