They said I’d got 5 texts waiting and to press 1 to hear them. I haven’t received any messages, so I just ended the call straight away!5 yearsI answered the call and it was an automated message claiming to be from BT’s text service. The voice told me to press a certain key to hear a message. Knowing about scams, and since none of my mates text me directly on my phone, I hung up straight away. Then I picked up again and it told me to dial 1471 to check the number, but I was still connected to the same line. After waiting a bit, I dialled 1471 once the line was free and it turned out to be an 0845 number.
