I received a call from someone who left a message on our answering machine, stating that we needed to return their call because they were supposed to arrange a delivery for us. However, since we aren't anticipating any deliveries, I decided to investigate the number. It redirected me to a database, and it turns out this is just one of those pesky nuisance calls.

Hi Lorraine, I just wanted to let you know that the number 08456012816 is linked to Healthcare-at-Home, the service that sorts out our medication deliveries straight to our doorstep. It's quite convenient since we can stash our meds in the fridge! They also have some regular numbers you can ring, which are 01283501320 and 08706001540. It's worth using those if you’d prefer to dodge the premium rate calls (I can’t stand the fact that NHS contractors think it’s okay for patients to pay extra just to speak with them). And it’s possible that the call you received was just a misdial!

The message stated that these individuals were trying to get in touch regarding a delivery that needed to be arranged with us. However, as we weren’t anticipating any delivery, I decided to look into the number on a reverse phone lookup site, and I discovered it was nothing more than a pesky nuisance call.
