I only caught some of the automated message, but as soon as it mentioned 'press 1 for Chinese', I had a feeling it was dodgy and probably a scam.

Some voice said they been waitin' for me to resend or pick up some documents, but I just ended the call straight away.

I got a call from this number and it showed up as Police Service of Northern Ireland on my phone, but there was also a warning saying suspected spam. I decided not to pick up. They never called back, which they probably would if it was important. From what I read in an old comment from like 7 years ago, this seems to be a scam that’s been around forever. Honestly, it’s about time someone put an end to it.

This number has been persistently ringing me two or three times daily. I tend to let them go to voicemail as they’re rather irritating. Could these calls possibly be from a company?

We got a call from this number but it’s not PSNI anymore. We live in England and someone said it was PSNI, so we rang the number they gave us to check. The PSNI told us they don’t use this number now, and if they call, it would show as 101 instead.
