It’s starting to feel like this office is a total apparition! For the past month, I've been trying to get hold of someone regarding our childcare tax credits, but it’s like shouting into a void. Every time I ring, I get the same old message telling me all their advisors are occupied. I even took a day off work specifically to sort this, but alas, I’ve struck out yet again. Is this the number they hand out when they’re swamped and don’t want to admit it? It certainly feels like dealing with a phantom office!

We had to ring the primary tax credits hotline once more to voice our frustration, even though we opted for the less expensive 02890538192 number, which seems to be overlooked. Funny enough, the agents insisted that we persist with the 08456005264 number. So, we had the bright idea to try 08456005265, thinking it might be the same office but on a different line. Well, it worked like a charm! We've finally got an update on our claim status-they’re currently two days behind. Hopefully, this info proves useful to someone!
