I got a call from a number starting with 020511, and the person said they were from HSBC. I didn’t share any info and asked them for a phone number I could use to contact HSBC myself. They told me 08455870102. When I checked that number online, I couldn’t find any link to HSBC at all. Planning to call HSBC myself soon and let them know about this.

I got a voicemail telling me to ring this number during office hours, they said it was from HSBC. Turned out to be a scam, so I called the number on the back of my credit card instead to check. HSBC confirmed they hadn't rung me and made a record of what I'd told them.
