Got a call from a number that seemed like a typical sales pitch. I didn’t pick up since they didn’t bother leaving a voicemail. When I checked the number online, it turned out to be linked with scams. Definitely dodged a bullet there.

I got a call from this number with a really bad recording, they said something like ‘this is (couldn’t catch the company name) sorry for bothering you, it’s not an urgent call, will ring again later’. Didn’t sound right so I’ve blocked it now.

This number rang me earlier and right away I felt it was a scam, so I didn’t accept anything they offered. I made sure not to share any personal info since I was pretty sure it was dodgy.

This number has rang me three times in the past day. I ignored all of them since I don’t answer calls from unknown numbers anymore. They had plenty of chances to leave a voicemail but didn’t bother. A quick search here showed it’s a scam, so I’m blocking it straight away. Honestly, never answer calls from outsiders because they end up selling your number and you get bombarded nonstop. Why on earth aren’t these scammers shut down or properly punished, fined or locked up for good? It’s crazy!

I called back and there was nothing but an echo repeating whatever I said. Like I said "hello" and all I got was "hello" back. No one actually speaking on the other side.

I picked up after a little wait, and some bloke was saying I’d been in a car crash or something? That’s never happened to me. So, I just blocked the number straight away.
