Received a call earlier today, so I decided to return the favour. Ended up on hold for what seemed like an eternity, listening to some rather tedious tunes. After three minutes, they had the audacity to tell me I was second in line, then miraculously I was suddenly first. Just as I thought I'd get through, it all went to voicemail. I did a quick lookup on the number, and it turns out it’s linked to Cheers Sales International - the very same company that's been hit hard by Ofcom for all sorts of complaints. I can only wonder how much those few minutes of my time have cost me!

I received a call earlier today and decided to return it, only to be met with a rather brief message that lasted all of three seconds. It stated that we were second in line for the first answer, and then it promptly diverted me to voicemail. Apparently, the number is linked to some international sales department that’s recently found itself in hot water with Ofcom, racking up hefty fines due to numerous complaints. I shudder to think how much that quick conversation ended up costing me!
