Received a message from the number 07741848406, which claimed to be from Santander, providing a one-time passcode for a payment of £220 to an individual named Mr Thomas Adewele. I quickly checked my bank balance, and there was no such transaction. I've reported and blocked the number!

Got a text from 07741848406 claiming to be Santander, with a one-time code to approve a payment. It said if I didn’t make it, I should call 08455281633. Problem is, I don’t even bank with Santander! Pretty sure it’s a dodgy scam.

Got a text from 07741 848415 claiming to be SANTANDER, giving a one-time code for £200.32 to some bloke called Thomas Adewele with REF JX1B9. It said if I’m not Thomas, ring 0845 528 1633. Definitely a scam, don’t trust it and block the number!
