I found myself in a bit of a pickle with this product, so I decided to ring them up to cancel. After a rather frustrating 3-minute chat, I ended up out of pocket by £7! Eventually, I managed to cancel the order and thought it wise to block my account, just to be on the safe side.

These chaps are nothing but tricksters. They peddle beauty products at "bargain" rates, only to siphon off hefty sums from your bank account straight away. To put a stop to the order, you're required to ring this number... only to find yourself chatting with them for an eternity-roughly an hour, which ends up costing you about £30. In short, it's all a dodgy scheme where they're just robbing unsuspecting folks.

I've noticed that my account has been debited twice for a total of £74. Apparently, it's for some beauty item that I'm not even aware of.

It would appear that the firm behind this phone number is running quite the con. They entice you with the lure of a complimentary beauty product, insisting that the only expense is for postage and packaging. However, once you sign on the dotted line, they’ll drain your bank account with numerous charges before you even realise what's happening and manage to alert your bank. They managed to catch me out by masquerading as Debenhams-an established, reputable name that one would ordinarily trust. But when the product eventually arrived, it was from a company called Beauty & Truth, which I found utterly laughable. There were no instructions included, nor any contact or return details. They provided an 0845 number, but I wouldn’t dream of calling it, fearing I'd be slapped with an outrageous phone bill. That number is clearly a premium line, racking up ludicrous fees that only line the pockets of those behind this scam. It's high time we saw a ban on such numbers!

I foolishly signed up for a free sample of a beauty product that supposedly only cost £2.95, but to my dismay, I've been charged three times already! I tried contacting them via email to voice my concerns, but surprise, surprise - the address isn’t even legitimate. Safe to say, I won’t be making that mistake again!

Somehow, I had a gut feeling about a seemingly generous offer for a pricey item that only required a small delivery fee. So, I decided to do a bit of digging and discovered a fair few grievances from others.

I reached out to the blokes regarding some items that had been "over-ordered". Firstly, they processed multiple orders even though I only intended to order a single item. Secondly, when I tried to cancel, the call cost me around £11. The company's name is something along the lines of "Beauty and Trust" (my memory's a touch fuzzy on that). We discovered the deal through the John Lewis website. I took the liberty of informing John Lewis about the situation since they have a sterling reputation.

I recently encountered a similar situation with the same phone number, albeit under slightly different circumstances. While browsing online, my session was abruptly interrupted by a rather convincing "thank you for your free gift" notification from Plusnet, my internet provider. I let my guard down and went ahead with the order, covering the postage fees as noted. Well, the rubbish arrived and my wife dived straight into it. It appears the conditions mirror those of many others who have expressed their grievances. If one fails to return the item, they seem to intend to bill endlessly. I've struggled to locate a return address, the phone line is perpetually unanswered, and any attempt to email through their site's contact is met with rejection. It's truly a despicable and calculated scam, if you ask me.

What a rip-off! They advertise it as free samples, but you only pay for the postage of £4.95. That's just deceitful! If you decide to keep them, it will set you back nearly £30 for each one, or they demand that you fork out more money to send it back to 'Cyrus'! Absolute nonsense!

I just had a rather dubious experience! They sent me a cream or some sort of ointment, and then had the gall to inform me that if I didn’t send it back at my own expense (all the way to Cyprus) within a mere 15 days, they would charge me using my saved Visa card details. To top it off, they included a sneaky little clause in the email-almost as if trying to hide it-stating, "If you’ve opted for a trial purchase, you are automatically enrolled in our Delivery Program to save you time. After your 15-day trial, your Visa ending in 4946 will be charged for the trial order. Subsequently, every month, a refill order will be dispatched using your stored card. There’s a 30-day guarantee, but if you choose to return the product for any reason, you bear the return shipping cost and will only get a refund minus handling charges." Honestly, it reeks of a scam. I’d strongly advise steering clear of these lot!
