The voicemail was empty when I checked. Could it be a scam or something?

I get calls at my work and they just disconnect straight away.

They've been calling me every day this week. Since I have caller ID, I just don't answer, and up till now they haven't left any voicemail either.

I got a call but there was no message left on my voicemail. When I tried ringing the number back, an automated voice said it’s not a valid number. Looks like it might be one of those spam calls from overseas using a fake number.
