Got a call from someone called Ahmed or Ahmad, his English was a bit off. He started talking about some RTA refund, which made me wary straight away. I asked him what RTA meant, and he said "Road Traffic Authority." I told him to just send me a letter with all the info, then he abruptly ended the call. Looking up the number afterwards, it pointed to a Gumtree scam, so it all adds up.

Got a call from a woman with a foreign accent, sounded like she was working in some kind of call centre. The moment I told her I knew she was calling from a call centre and asked why she was ringing me out of the blue, she just hung up. Definitely a scam, best to just ignore these calls.

I've encountered yet another call featuring a Filipino accent from this number-it's the second one today, albeit from a different line. They have this rather off-putting habit of kicking things off with the standard "Are you okay?" prompt. It's clearly another one of those car accident scams. I've been pestered by these con artists six times already this morning! To top it off, while I was chatting on the phone, I received yet another call from the very same number. I told them where to go with their nonsense claims-they must think it's a laugh! It’s quite disheartening to think of those who might fall prey to their tricks.
