Today has been quite the saga with my phone, having endured a whopping eight calls, nearly all of them ringing through every quarter of an hour. We've got BT's advanced call monitoring in place, so thankfully the phone remained silent after we decided to block the number. It’s evidently an automated nuisance since it didn’t even bother to ping the answerphone on its first attempt-before we hit the block button. Furthermore, our Call Guardian didn’t get any name to present, indicating it was bypassing proper identification. It’s both vexing and intrusive, especially since we rely on BT Privacy and the Telephone Preference Service! I’m seriously considering reporting this number to the Data Registrar, although I'm not sure what good that’ll do. This sort of harassment has really gone on for long enough. Out of the twenty or so calls I’ve had today, no fewer than fifteen were from sources that didn’t even bother to reveal themselves.
