We can't quite place this number. It rang at 5:05 in the afternoon on the 30th of June. When we answered, there was nothing but silence on the line. We suspect it's one of those businesses that randomly calls loads of people and only engages with the first person who picks up. We thought unsolicited cold calls had been made illegal by now!

On the 21st of July, our folks received a call from this number inquiring about us. Apparently, it was a young woman from England claiming to represent an intermittent refund company, as relayed by our father. We don't have the foggiest idea who she is, and when we tried returning the call, we didn’t recognise a thing. It seemed completely unrelated to anything we know.

In the last day or so, I've had three calls from this number, all of which seem to be from Pakistani telemarketers. They keep asking about any payment protection we've secured in the last couple of years or if we're carrying any debts. We've told them repeatedly that we're in the clear and don’t have any such concerns, but they just won't take the hint and keep ringing us. It's becoming quite a nuisance, to say the least. If you value your peace and quiet, I suggest you steer clear of them.

I receive a minimum of two calls a day from this number, and honestly, it's beyond frustrating. There’s never a word spoken-just an awkward silence followed by the ringing sound. By the time I pick up, the caller has already hung up. I've had enough of it!

I've received a call from this number three times now. On the most recent occasion, I answered, and could distinctly make out voices in the background, yet no one engaged with us directly. It's quite puzzling, as we're left completely clueless about who might be on the other end.

Received a call from this number on the 15th of July. Immediately after asking for some information, I was met with quite a bit of hostility. When I requested to speak to a supervisor, the caller abruptly hung up. Does anyone here have any idea who this company or organization might be?

08455083664: We're absolutely beleaguered by calls from this number-two or even three times daily! It seems we've deciphered the trick: it’s an automated system that makes the initial call. When they’re met with a "Hello!", it connects you to a person. So, we’ve taken to simply picking up the phone and staying silent at first, allowing the caller to speak first. The moment we hear this number, they typically hang up quite swiftly. It's not a perfect solution, but it certainly saves us from having to engage in prolonged "no thanks" exchanges!
