I received a call from a chap named Adam, who inquired about my date of birth and postcode, claiming he was with Kensington Mortgage Company. The trouble is, I don’t have any dealings with them at all. It felt quite dubious, to say the least. He provided me with a number, so I decided to call back. To my surprise, an Irish-accented lady picked up, but she stated no managers were available and advised me to ring back the following day. After a rather unsettled night, I tried the number again only to find it’s now out of service. What steps should I take regarding this situation? The number in question is 08454992222.
