We've had a few instances of a missed call ringing through on our office phone.

I was trying to get the name of the Dealer Principal or General Manager when out of the blue a letter turned up demanding £358.80 for an advert we never asked for! They even sent a so-called 'sample copy' of the Fire Safety & Prevention Book 2014, but it was shockingly poor quality - barely legible and really unprofessional. No chance we’d ever agree to advertise in that. It’s not just dodgy, it’s a proper scam. Plus, the email came from a live.com address which made me suspicious, and the phone number they gave just went straight to voicemail. You can actually buy 0845 numbers cheaply, so it all felt very fishy.

Had a call about some advertising space, they convinced me to agree to a trial, then slapped a bill on me for £358.80. They even took images straight from my computer without asking. When I said no to the trial proof, they kept pushing for payment and started threatening me with legal action and extra court fees. Proper pushy and really nasty behaviour.

I just received a phone call from a firm called "Security First". They were trying to persuade me to upgrade the alarm system in my flat. Their office is situated at Davidson House, Forbury Square, Reading, RG1 3EU.
