Got a call on my home phone about some big purchase, but they just dropped the line right after.

We have an answering machine that picks up and the message was one of them automated things saying that our account had an order placed and to press some buttons if it wasn’t us. So I just hung up straight away because it felt dodgy.

I got a call from this number claiming to be from BT about some “suspicious internet activity.” Then, I got another one saying I’d be charged £79.99 for Amazon Prime unless I pressed 1. The background noise sounded like a busy call centre. The Amazon call was definitely an automated scam. Proper dodgy stuff!

Got two calls from a woman with an Asian accent claiming there was a fault with my internet. She hung up when she noticed I was a bit wary. I reckon it’s the same number that called me a while back pretending to be from Amazon. Definitely a scam in my opinion!

Got a call from an Asian woman claiming she worked at BT’s tech support. Said there was some “suspicious activity” on my account. I told her to put it in an email or something. Pretty sure it was a scam.

Got a call from some bloke asking about my BT broadband, but then it took a really weird turn - started asking all these inappropriate questions about sexual stuff. After that, he kept ringing from loads of different numbers until my partner picked up, then he stopped. The numbers he used were 07521675354, 07353407605, 07141445459, and 0715241732. Proper disturbing behaviour.

Someone called pretending to be from BT tech support, but it was total nonsense.

I just got another call claiming my BT broadband was hacked. This is the second time they've rung me about it and each time I’ve said I’m not a BT customer. Today the woman on the other end got really shouty and said it didn’t matter if I got my internet from elsewhere. After that I just hung up.

Got a call from this number at half past twelve, when I picked up there was a pre-recorded voice saying my Amazon Prime was about to expire and if I didn’t act, £79.99 would be taken from my bank automatically. They said to press #1 to talk to someone about cancelling. I just hung up straight away. Then a few hours later, around 9.30 in the morning, I got a similar call but this time from 05360 478510.
