I've just had a rather dodgy encounter with a so-called loan company, masquerading as Fast Loans UK. They were quite pushy about wanting me to transfer £50 up front as some sort of insurance before they'd release the funds. Curiously, the chap on the other end had an Indian accent yet introduced himself as Gary - quite the laugh, really! Be careful, folks!

I've had a rather dodgy experience with this number that reached out to me. They offered a loan, which I was keen on, so I proceeded to send them some cash as a sort of guarantee. However, after that, they completely vanished and I never received the loan. I'm at a bit of a loss now regarding what steps to take next. Should I go to the police and file a complaint?
