I found this phone number on some bags related to a clothing drive that supposedly involves the Salvation Army. However, the only response I got was a barrage of "busy" messages. When I contacted my local Salvation Army, they seemed completely oblivious to anything regarding this so-called "national clothes collection scheme." I can't help but wonder if this might be a con of some sort?

I found the 0845 number utterly useless, just a long wait before I got disconnected. On the flip side, the 01933 number was a breath of fresh air! I spoke to a lovely lady who kindly suggested another date for collection. Much better experience all round!

We’ve been waiting three weeks for them to pick up a bag, which has been left outside in the rain, looking rather miserable. I’ve phoned up twice and finally received a call saying they would come for it today. But surprise, surprise, they never showed! To make matters worse, I can’t seem to get through on the 0845 number, and when I tried the 01933 one, I was told they’re experiencing system issues and to try again on Monday. At this rate, it seems like our bag will be making its way to the Animals in Distress charity instead!

It has now been three weeks since we arranged for a bag to be picked up. Poor thing has been left out in the rain, looking rather miserable. I've tried ringing them twice and was finally told they would come for it today. However, surprise, surprise, they never showed up! I also struggled to get through on the 0845 number, and when I called the 01933 line, I was met with a message about their systems being down. Apparently, I should try again on Monday. At this rate, it seems our bag may well be making its way to Animals in Distress instead!
