08454122748 Summary (Read all comments)

Phone number ☎️ 08454122748 👆 is reported as a persistent nuisance caller, often claiming to be from well-known mobile providers such as EE or T-Mobile. Although some callers possess personal information, their legitimacy is questionable, with many users suspecting scams due to inconsistent details and lack of proper security checks. The number frequently rings during daytime hours, often multiple times, causing irritation especially when calls are believed to relate to billing or account issues. Official confirmation from network providers is inconsistent, with some denying association with the number. Many advise caution, recommending not answering or returning calls, particularly when unexpected, and to verify any concerns directly with your service provider by official means. Users note it's commonly linked with automated calls and unannounced attempts to collect payments or set up direct debits.

Consistantly gettin bothered by annoying phone calls all the time.

I answered a call from this number once, and it felt rather dodgy as if they were trying to redirect us elsewhere. We thought it might be a scam, so we hung up immediately. Since then, we've been pestered by them five times in a mere fortnight! It used to happen when I was with T-Mobile as well, just like I've seen mentioned in the comments here. It's about time T-Mobile communicated these things through proper channels, like post or some reliable method, rather than leaving us in the dark!

I remember when we were trying to establish a direct debit, we clearly said no. Yet, these callers kept ringing us back-about half a dozen times, if not more-repeatedly asking the same question. We made it abundantly clear that we weren't interested, especially since we were at work when they decided to bombard us with their calls. It was as if they were completely ignoring our wishes!

We've been inundated with calls from 08454122748. Every time we pick up, we hear a faint hint of what seems to be a robotic voice before it abruptly disconnects. Since I'm with T-Mobile, I can't help but speculate - given what others have said - that it could indeed be them. Ah well, if it’s something important, they’ll surely leave a message! 😊

Indeed, I've received calls from this number too. It's quite odd how she behaves during the conversations.

This morning I got a call from someone claiming to be Osama Bin Laden (not really dead, apparently). They demanded my bank info and even threatened to harm my poor little hamster. Proper scary, that!

I've received a call from this number recently. The caller claimed to represent EE, discussing the possibility of activating wifi calling on my account. Strangely, she had my address and even knew what phone I was using, along with my name - yet didn’t inquire about any security details. She inquired about the signal strength in my vicinity, which is rather poor, before mentioning that wifi calling was a free perk exclusive to EE. I can’t help but feel sceptical, particularly since this number has been pestering me for several days without a response from my end. On one occasion, I tried calling it back; a message confirmed it was indeed EE attempting to get in touch, promising further attempts. However, when I reached out to EE directly, the advisor told me the last contact they had from an EE representative was back in January 2015! I asked her to investigate this number, only to discover it wasn’t actually associated with EE. While it might be a legitimate call, given the prevalence of scam phone calls these days, I’m not keen on taking any chances. - caller: EE

It seems there's a lot of chatter about this being a T-Mobile issue regarding overdue payments. However, it doesn't quite add up for me, considering I'm not even a T-Mobile customer! I also pride myself on always settling my bills on time. So, I'd wager this could be some kind of scam rather than anything legitimate. To be honest, I wouldn't bother picking up. If it were truly pressing, I'm sure T-Mobile would find a more reliable means to get hold of me, just a thought!

I've received calls from this number twice today. We answered one, but the other call got cut off abruptly. This can't possibly be related to our bill, as we settled that yesterday!

We received a call from this number as well; however, we decided not to answer. Since we work night shifts, we often find ourselves unwell due to disturbances during our resting hours. Recently, we terminated our contract, so we assume they're contacting us for the same purpose that Darren mentioned-trying to retain us as customers. We both feel that these callers ought to leave a voicemail or at the very least, send a text message. A while back, we had a missed call from them inquiring about an unpaid bill. Shortly after that, they switched us to paperless billing without even consulting us first.

We rang the number back, and the folks on the other end claimed it was T-Mobile trying to get in touch with us.

This number keeps ringing us, and despite the fact that we diligently pay via direct debit every week, we never get a response from them. It's incredibly frustrating, especially when it's important that they communicate with us. Honestly, it's driving me mad!

I answered this number once and it immediately seemed like they were trying to switch us to another line. Sensing a potential scam, we hung up. Since then, we’ve received five calls in the last fortnight! This was while we were with T-Mobile, a sentiment echoed by others on this site. T-Mobile ought to inform us through mail or some reliable communication channel, don’t you think?

I thought it might be worth mentioning that the calls you receive from this number are simply courtesy calls from T-Mobile. They operate using an automated dialling system and have no visibility of who they’re reaching until you pick up. So, just a heads up, if you don’t answer, it just leads to more ringing. Additionally, it's worth noting that these calls often happen as a follow-up regarding late payments. So, a little advice: settle your bills promptly, and you’ll likely stop hearing from them!

Earlier today, we received a call from this number. It turns out it was T-Mobile, eager to chat just when we were contemplating ending our service with them. Quite the coincidence, isn’t it?

Blimey, that number keeps ringing us too! Quite odd, I must say.

While attempting to organise a direct debit, we clearly indicated 'no'. Despite this, the callers persisted, ringing us around six times with the same request. We reiterated our decision not to proceed with the setup, yet they continued to bother us about the matter. It's quite frustrating, to say the least!

What you're hearing is often referred to as a 'relay message' by those familiar with T-Mobile's operations. Other mobile providers employ similar tactics, typically in coordination with government directives. Many folks assume these calls are merely reminders for unpaid bills, but the reality is quite different. In fact, answering the phone can inadvertently contribute to network congestion, particularly if authorities need to disrupt communications tied to threats or criminal activity. It's a fascinating point of concern, and hopefully, this sheds some light on the matter for everyone.

Without a doubt, this number belongs to T-Mobile. It’s been a fortnight since my payment was due, which I settled in cash at the post office. It seems to take an age for them to update their records. Blimey, they are incredibly tenacious!

Had two calls from this number today. We let the first one go unanswered since we weren't familiar with it, but answered the second one. Strangely enough, they hung up almost immediately!

We've been inundated with calls from 08454122748 throughout the day. Every time, we chose not to engage and instead contacted T-Mobile to understand why this number was persistently reaching out to us. T-Mobile confirmed that this number doesn’t belong to their network at all.

This individual persistently rings us up, and yet we shell out for their routine calls week in, week out. Strangely enough, we never pick up the phone. If it’s truly important, surely they ought to leave a message? It’s rather exasperating!
