Gave us a bell at precisely 14:45 on the 21st of February, 2008. We were on the line for about twenty seconds, during which we could hear a fair amount of chatter and a lady chuckling away in the background. It felt as if someone was in the midst of cracking a joke before they got round to addressing us. We’re guessing they were utilising some sort of automated dialling system and got a bit caught off-guard when the call connected to us. Absolutely no idea which company it might be.

If you ring back and press option 5, they let you remove yourself from their call list, which only takes about 50 seconds. I'm registered with the Telephone Preference Service, yet I'm still bombarded with these nuisance calls. It's baffling how there seems to be no way to rid oneself of these disruptions.
