I never pick up calls from numbers I don’t recognise. If it’s just another pushy seller trying to sell unwanted stuff, I save their number as “scammers” in my phone. Honestly, if someone has to ring you out of the blue like that, you probably didn’t want to hear from them anyway. I do my own shopping, no need for these random calls. Seriously, these cold calls should be blocked for good.

Got calls from this number three times today (Saturday) at about 9.15am, 12.40pm and again around 3.30pm. They’ve also rung during the week when I was at work and it just went to voicemail. No clue why they’re bothering us since we’ve never had anything to do with Tesco Bank. Plus, we stopped buying from them ages ago because we don’t like supporting a dodgy, greedy firm like that!

I’ve been getting calls like 5 times every day and finally told the police. Now it’s got taken up by international fraud officers. It’s crazy Tesco hasn’t done anything about it, they really should care more. It’s not fair that these scammers can just keep bothering people like this.

My mobile showed two missed calls, then my home phone started ringing. When I picked up, some robotic voice said it was a message for me and told me to press any key. The worst part is I can't seem to block it on my mobile - they always manage to dodge the block somehow. On my landline, BT said I’d have to pay £34 a month or cough up £340 for a new phone just to stop the calls. Honestly, these numbers should be shut down by the phone companies when they get reported. But I doubt that'll ever happen since they're cashing in from us all.

The frustrating part is I can’t seem to block the number on my phone, they always find a way past it. When I spoke to BT about the landline calls, they said I’d have to pay £4 a month or buy a new handset for £40 to stop them. Surely these numbers should be blacklisted by the phone companies that allow them to operate but I can’t imagine that happening since everyone’s making money from this. It’s so annoying!
