I’m with Orange and my Barclaycard account is well up to date, so I can’t fathom why they’re harassing me. I’m seriously considering requesting that these numbers be blocked.

We did send the cheque well within the timeline, but it seems to take an eternity for them to process it. Heads up, folks! Just wanted to share a bit of a cautionary tale regarding this dubious phone ring we received. It was on an orange mobile that doesn’t even belong to us, and it’s set up as pay-as-you-go. The whole thing kicked off with a rather dodgy text claiming we’d gone over our limit with them and needed to pay up straight away. It read something like: "Your Barclaycard account is overdue. You won't be able to use your card until you settle the payment. Call Barclaycard now on 0844 2412951." Honestly, this scam has been peddled for a couple of years now, so stay vigilant!

We do, in fact, possess a Barclaycard, but it seems these callers have a knack for choosing the most inconvenient times-right smack in the middle of our working hours. Between juggling deadlines and meetings, it’s virtually impossible to answer the phone when we’re utterly inundated. We often find ourselves darting out for a quick lunch break just to catch our breath before diving back into the workload. Honestly, we’d rather not be disturbed by these calls, especially when our time is much better allocated to those who are actually compensating us for our efforts!
