Absolutely a scam! It's all just smoke and mirrors! Don't buy into it-honestly, anyone claiming otherwise is likely in on the ruse. We contacted NatWest straight away, and they confirmed it’s a total con. If you receive one of these calls, make sure to alert your bank right away. It’s a blatant hoax, repeated ad nauseam!

When we called the number back, we overheard a young woman speaking in an Indian language. So, my advice is to just steer clear of this number and do not engage with it!

I recently received a call that felt quite odd. There was a pre-recorded message claiming to be searching for someone named "Emma Archer." It then proceeded to rattle off a bunch of options, like pressing various keys depending on whether he was available or off somewhere else. It's all rather baffling, isn’t it? One has to wonder, is this some sort of scam? Could these dodgy callers somehow manipulate the line to charge you for a premium rate, despite the fact that you never even initiated the call? Very curious indeed!

Earlier today, we received our first call, and to be honest, we're a bit apprehensive about answering numbers we're unfamiliar with. I had only just rolled out of bed and wasn’t in the mood for a chat, to say the least. Fortunately, I’m set to get a new phone shortly, so I’m hoping to finally be done with these pesky interruptions! As I’m jotting this down, we’ve just had another call from the same number, which is beyond frustrating since our partner was supposed to ring us today.

We've received more than twenty calls from this number on both our home phone and our mobiles, and it's becoming quite intrusive. It claims to represent NatWest, but there’s absolutely no way to verify that. When we tried to return the call, we were met with yet another automated message system. If these individuals truly wish to communicate with us, it would be far better for them to do so via a real person or send us a letter. We intend to escalate this matter to the appropriate government agency and NatWest, requesting the removal of our phone numbers from their database. It’s high time someone put a stop to this nonsense!

Initially, we were quite sceptical, but it turned out it really was NatWest reaching out. They were inquiring about payments for an inactive account of ours. I'd suggest ringing them up directly using the official numbers listed on their site if you find yourself in a similar situation (which we did). We expressed our frustration over such a careless system. During a visit to our local branch, the staff informed us that it’s exceedingly rare for them to ring and request banking details, yet here we were, receiving just that! Don't hesitate to voice your complaints; otherwise, they’ll continue this nonsense unabated.

I recently had a chat with Natwest regarding some dodgy phone calls I received. They confirmed that the number in question isn’t one of their official lines. I received a text prompting me to call 08453014220, but I don’t even bank with them! If you happen to get any missed calls or messages from this number, best not to engage - just leave it as it can lead to unexpected charges on your bill. I've reported this to Northumbria Police, and they seem to think it’s a scam. They've given me a crime reference number, which should help me reclaim any costs from my phone provider. Stay vigilant!
