I can definitely sense a dodgy scam call here; it’s really getting on my nerves at this point. Just added yet another scammer to my blocked list!

I let it ring out without answering, and there was no voicemail left behind.

I received a rather dodgy automated call claiming that I was chosen to win a grand. They instructed me to press 2 for a callback within a day. If I wished to opt out, I was told to press 9. It’s just baffling that there’s no way to trace who was behind the call! Quite the scam, if you ask me.

I received a robotic call claiming I could be in the running for a grand prize of £1000 or something similar. They instructed me to press 2 for a callback within a day or alternatively press 9 if I wanted to remove myself from their list. Just as the message got to that point, it abruptly disconnected. I’m completely in the dark about who this caller might be or what business they represent!

On the 7th of March 2017, I received a rather dubious automated call claiming I'd won a thousand quid. It instructed me to press 2 for further details, assuring me they'd ring back, or to press 9 if I wished to opt out. However, the call cut out before I had a chance to hit the 9 key. I've since tagged the number as a competition entry, so I shan't be answering if they decide to ring again!
