I've just ended the call and promptly blocked the number.

It won't stop calling, so I’ve simply chosen to pass it by.

I received a recorded call that prompted me to press 3 for a chance to win a grand or 9 to decline. Strangely enough, there was no mention of any name or company attached to it. Quite dodgy, if you ask me!

So, it seems I supposedly hit the jackpot with a £1000 cash prize. Yeah, right! I opted to hang up before they could hit me with any fees. Better safe than sorry!

As soon as the phone chimed, I picked it up only for the caller to promptly disconnect without a word. Quite baffling, really - I have no idea who it was trying to get in touch.
