I received a recorded voice message urging me to press 2 for a chance to win something. I didn't bother and just disconnected the call.

As soon as I picked up the phone, they disconnect. Just a couple of minutes later, the same number buzzes again, and lo and behold, it’s the same story. It’s high time the government took some action regarding these irritating calls. They should require telecom providers to disclose the identities of these callers, making that information accessible to everyone. I reckon only when these nuisances are brought to light will we finally find some respite. Of course, I’ve swiftly added this number to my blocked list.
