They're some accident claims outfit. They clearly sneak data from some accident records (which they're not meant to use) so they’ll see you’ve had insurance stuff happen but won’t know the full story and try to pry. Feel free to be as harsh as you want, they’re absolutely the worst.

Got a call from some scammer claiming there’d been a car crash that wasn’t my fault. Told them I’d been in an accident but admitted it was my own fault, then they just hung up. I use Swiftcover - makes me wonder if they’re sharing info or something?

Total scam! He rang up saying I’d been in an accident, so I asked for the specifics. He wouldn’t share anything, just kept saying it shouldn’t be hard to answer. I warned him not to be cheeky, but he kept at it. Told him he was wasting my time, and he goes why? Told him to remove my number or I’d report him to OFCOM, then he got really rude and hung up. I usually get loads of spam calls, but this bloke was downright offensive.

Even though I've blocked this number on my phone, it somehow still shows up in my blocked calls list almost every day.

This number has rung me two times today, but I ignored it. A short while ago, I got a call from 0330 3035324, and the person was asking for my husband. When I tried to find out why they were calling, they just asked if I was Mrs...? I tried to get an answer from them but they just said they'd ring back and cut off before I could respond. I reckon both these calls might be coming from the same place, as they seem to switch their calling number if you block them.

They claimed to be from the motor insurance bureau and the DVLA, saying they got my info because of an insurance claim (which was true, I did have a new windscreen fitted). Then she started going on about me being in an accident, which immediately made me suspicious. Told her I'd never been in any crash. She kept insisting I had, just because of the claim. I told her she was basically calling me a terrible driver without proof. She just hung up on me. So impolite! Definitely a scam - steer clear.

The person calling had a strong Irish accent. They asked whether our car had been in any sort of accident or if another driver had mentioned damage to it. They said they had a report about a crash. Then they said thanks and hung up. We've gotten quite a few calls like this over the past half year. I never share any personal stuff on calls like this. This number definitely needs looking into.
