Got a call from someone saying they were from HSBC, mentioning some weird stuff happening on my card. Funny thing is, they already seemed to know all the details, which made me think it was just a scammer trying to squeeze out my info before going on a spending rampage. The bloke didn't even bother to verify who I was, so I put the phone down before he could ask anything important. After that, I rang the proper HSBC number and they did confirm there was some dodgy business. Total muppets, honestly.

Got a call supposedly from the fraud team about my credit card. They wanted all my account and security details. Pretty clear it was a scammer trying to trick me.

Got a call from someone pretending to be Amex fraud dept, said there was a problem with my Apple Pay. I rang Amex myself and they said they never contacted me. Then about 15 mins later, I got another dodgy call from a blocked number, this time with a totally different tale about Amex fraud. Pretty dodgy stuff.
