At around half past five this evening, I received a call from Populus. I'm registered as ex-directory and signed up with the Telephone Preference Service, so I'm rather puzzled as to how they managed to obtain my number. A woman was chuckling as she glanced over at you or any of your family members who might be listed in that professional directory, only to stop short when it came to carrying on with a survey for Transport for London. Since she had connections to the advertising industry, she chose not to proceed further.
