I just received a phone call from someone whose name I couldn't quite catch-sounded a bit like Ivan? He mentioned he was representing Build Control for Telford and Wrekin County Council. The thing is, that's not my local council at all! He didn't provide any clear reason for the call, just requested that I ring back. Quite perplexing, if you ask me!

I received a call on my home phone from a chap named Mike, who claimed to be with the Birmingham Council's Building Control department. He left a message urging me to return his call. However, when I tried to reach him, I ended up on his voicemail instead. Quite the nuisance, really!

A chap named Mike, purporting to be from Cornwall Building Control, got in touch and left a message asking us to ring back regarding some leaflet advertising. He even followed up with an email. I'm rather sceptical about it all. I've fallen prey to similar dodgy schemes in the past, so there’s not a chance I’ll be returning that call.
