Got a call from someone who said they were from Build Control at Telford and Wrekin County Council, but that’s not even my local council. I couldn’t quite catch his name, sounded something like Ivan? He didn’t really explain why he was calling, just told me to ring him back. Strange!

Got a voicemail from someone named Mike, said he was with Cornwall Building Control, wanting us to advertise in their brochure. He also followed up with an email. Felt really dodgy to me. I've fallen for a scam kinda like this before, so no way am I calling back.
