This number rang one of my relatives pretending to be his bank. They already had loads of his details like his address, middle name, and even his NI number. Unfortunately, they managed to con him out of some cash. Please be careful and don't trust them at all. I also noticed they were using 07552154099 - which is marked here as a scam too!

Got a call saying it was from Halifax, so I rang them back and they said they hadn’t called me at all - definitely a scam. They were asking if I’d tried to buy £2600 worth of crypto, which is daft since I don’t even have £10 in my account, I’m totally broke. Then out of nowhere they just hung up on me.

Had a dodgy call from someone pretending to be from a mettle bank account, though they might also claim to be from tide, starling, or some other business bank you might use. They kept going on about some transactions on my account and tried to get me to hand over access. The bloke was really aggressive over the phone and never gave his name so I have no idea who he was. He was insisting that the mettle app isn’t legit and warned me not to trust anyone using it.
