11 yearsMy elderly folks nearly got caught out by this lot, but thankfully my missus answered the phone. She mentioned they sounded pretty genuine, which is worrying! Definitely be careful and don't get tricked by them.11 yearsGot a call from someone saying they were from Home Secure, telling me I signed up for their call blocking service and had a payment coming up. I’m pretty sure I never signed up for anything like that. Plus, if I did, it clearly isn’t doing its job because I still keep getting loads of these annoying calls. Definitely best to steer clear of these lot.Home Secure11 yearsThis company has been trying it on with my elderly mum too. They've charge her £98.99 twice in October, which is just not on. I've since contacted her credit card company to sort it out and have put in a dispute about the payments.11 yearsMy mother-in-law just got duped out of £60, it's so frustrating!11 yearsReceived a call from this number claiming I owed about £98 and needed to settle it straight away. They warned if I didn’t pay they’d send it to a debt collector and it could damage my credit score. They said I’d made some sort of verbal agreement last year and had already paid once, but I couldn’t remember any of that. Had a look through my bank statements and couldn’t find any payment to them (apparently it was from a company called Stop These Calls). They’re supposed to ring again tomorrow. Any advice on how to handle this?11 yearsI got a call from some lot claiming they could help stop nuisance calls, and then asked me to cough up £89.99 for what they said was the second half of a two-year contract. I told them I'd already paid that amount twice to some other firm, and the bloke just brushed it off saying it must’ve been a scam and I should contact my bank to recover my money so they could check into it. Feeling suspicious, I looked up their number and found out they’re pulling the same stunt. The other number I came across was 0333 456 0325.11 yearsis this one of those legit companies? i paid them 98.99 last year to stop annoying calls. when i called, the woman on the phone told me there should’ve been two payments but nothing else was said. now they’re saying they’ll send a technician to check my phone line within 72 hours. also promised to send me some documents in five working days. can you see if this is real? cheers.Submit Your Own Report (0845 302 5970)
